I am looking for a in good condition Tail Housing from a 97-04 Corvette T56 transmission. I am going to be replacing the tail housing of a F body T-56 with the vette peice for my application. Below in blue is the only piece from the vette tranny that i need.

Anyone know where i can find one of these? There has got to be some tranny shops that have a few housings laying around.

what are they new? i haven t been able to find a whole lot of info on them or even the vette t56

Are you only changing the tail housing ? What about the main shaft ?

i'm using a LT1 tranny with the corvette tailhousing. Taht will give me a mounting surface. I will then have to make an adapter to house the shifter and mount to my transfer case. here is a photo of exactly what i am doing.
