I've got 2, 3 channel shafts from a 99 z28 in perfect condition. Do you need 3 channel or 4?

4 channel is for a car with traction control and it has a reluctor ring on each axle for each wheel sensor. 3 channel only has 1 reluctor on the ring gear in the carrier and nothing on the axles.

Not sure because I have never had a non traction car. Just look under your car and see what you have. If there is a wire going to the backing plate on both wheels then you have a 4 channel. If there is only 1 wire going to the top of the axle in the center and no wires to the wheels then you have a 3 channel.
