Default WTB: 4.3 Chevy motor (long or shortblock) in Central FL area?

Looking for a 4.3 Chevy motor (long or shortblock) in Central FL area? My friend needs one for his truck? Anyone have anything laying around? Debating on rebuilding the stocker. If so, what year?

Thanks
Steve

I really was looking for something more local. The current motor is rebuildable, so not looking for a core. It's going in a 95 CPI Blazer. I can use a late model shortblock, but would have to keep my heads so my intake will bolt on. Has to be a 92+ motor with the internal balance shaft.

Thanks
Steve

GO big. find a 96+ harness & intake & convert to that wonderful tbi & slap the vortec on. I also have a 95 Blazer CPI and I think the 3.4DOHC has a bigger aftermarket than that CPI

There are some recyclers on e-bay that have some decen t prices & shipping, but I haven't been looking for the 4.3.

Nope, not a chance... this truck is staying bone stock. Don't care about aftermarket or performance. It's not a go-fast car. It's transportation. We already have our go-fast cars to work on..
