well that price sounds good but i am talking to my mechanic and he is telling me that i should get a little more for what you are asking but i am calling around for example the dealer, i know that those kits are around that price but i am giving a pretty much stock tranny in excellent condition so i want to make sure that i am getting my moneys worth. So tell me what is the most you can give me?

Well considering im still going to need lots or bolts and also labor charges im looking at about 3 grand for the total conversion. 2200 is a very decent price I feel because those kits are for a excellent condition tranny and the hydraulics and tranny rebuilt for 2500. So 2200 shipped is about as high as I can go. I don't have anyone local to help me with the install so I have to get a shop to do it. And there is no telling what other parts I will need plus I will trade you everything I can and you need from my A4 to make up for any loss you may have.

well i am not looking for an A4 i am going with a th350 or th400 so if i sell you this set up then i will have to buy the tranny, converter, torque arm, crossmember, trans cooler, all the cooling lines, shifter, maybe shifter brackets don't know yet, torque converter bolts, flywheel bolts, flywheel for an auto, 6-7 bolts for flywheel, maybe a driveshaft don't know yet, possible driveshaft yoke don't know yet, trans mount, case of tranny fluid, and i will have to pay for labor also, and all of this is going to cost me 4000 for everything cause i will be down if i don't, so i want to oder all of this asap. let me know.

Well im not giving you 4000 for it. Again the highest I can go and I feel it is a very honest and fair price it $2,200 bucks. I will give you whatever I can from my car because the pedal assembly is the same, and I will need a 6 speed pedal assembly. I cannot go any higher than that price right now because I will still have to get the tranny rebuilt which is another $450 - 500 bucks. I think my offer is fair and im not trying to stick you or anything. Just let me know 2,200 bucks is a damn good chunck out of $4 grand thats for damned sure. I am checking with tranny shop tommorrow to see what total price everything will be. Let me know if we can work a deal.

Dude I don't know what is swappable I did my research to find what parts I needed to swap in a T-56 so it might be wise to do the same. I don't know what parts are interchangable as I have never installed a th400 or th350. The coolant lines may be the same I know the pedals are the same. The tranny cooler will work. And my upper shift plate will work. The torgue arm is definatly different and converter are different. But if there is something that can be swapper just let me know and its yours. Hell the bolts will probably even work and since it was just rebuilt 500 miles ago the bolts they used are brand new so those may work for the flywheel im not sure. Maybe somebody here can tell you. Also it kinda worries me that you only have 2 posts here. Do you post under another account?

Well regardless of how much it is going to cost you, you still need to be fair with the price. I mean if a completly rebuilt kit is 2500 dollars and i get everything that i am asking you for then why should I have to spend more than that for a used non rebuilt tranny. Just because I am desperate for this swap doesn't mean I am going to spend way more than I should to get the parts. I am trying to be fair for both of us by giving you the most that I can spare for these parts and trying to offer you what I can so you don't have to buy as many extra parts.

Because I have 400 hp to the wheels right now and im getting a cam which means I will need to upgrade the shift forks and any other weak links in the tranny before I put it in there. Otherwise I will be removing everything 2 months after I got it in there and im not doing that.
