LS1 T56 Core Hello All,
I'm looking for a rebuildable LS1 F-body T56 transmission (need not be in perfect working order). Essentially, I'm just looking to rebuild a transmission with the tougher G-Force internals as a fun side project. If all goes well, it'll get put in my '89 LSX-powered Iroc. Since I'm looking for a worn out transmission and will have a considerable investment in the rebuild (essentially replacing most of the components and upgrading to the 30-spline mainshaft), I don't want to pay a whole lot (maybe 500-600 dollars plus shipping). Let me know what you've got and your asking price. If you've got a transmission within driving distance of Port Huron, MI, I'm happy to make a road trip.
