Im a moron and should have said that im not looking for something that cost that much... im sorry guys. Im looking to spend like $3000. I dont really care about the mileage... i just need something that runs so i can finish the car and sell her. I just bought a house and need to get my car up and running so it can be sold.
Thanks so much everyone,
Jessica

It might be tough to find a LS1 motor and the T-56 complete. I know another RX-7 guy posted he got a great deal on one at $3500. Not saying it's impossible, just they are maintaining value and then you have to add in shipping ($400+). You could probably find a 5.3L motor for next to nothing and it will still bolt up to a T-56. That would be the less expensive route at maybe $2,000-3,000.
I will keep my eyes out for you to help find a decent price on a LS1 motor.

Yeah, the price for salvage has went up about 50%. I used to be able to buy new 2002 cars in 2002 with less than 10k miles for $5,000 now that same car with 30-60k miles cost $5-6,000 and is now four years old. Its possible to find a 98 with high miles for around $3500, but thats about the best I could do one for.
Thanks Scott
