I have a set of stock gunmetal Z06 wheels. 17" fronts and 18" rears. They have curb rash on them, but with a little sanding, you can polish the lip out to a nice polish. Gives it a VERY unique look. Here is the set I put on my car that also had curb rash before I polished them out: http://www.eadperformance.com/z06rims/
I jacked the rear of the car up, bolted on each rim, and held sand paper up to the lip while the car was in gear. Worked my way from 600 grit to 1500grit. Probably took 20min per wheel.
