Default Please Help! I need front caliper brackets!!!

Well I needed to do front brakes badly, so I got new rotors and pads. Went to install and the slider pins are rusted and stuck into the caliper bracket! I have tried finding these brackets, called many local parts stores etc etc I even tried ordering new calipers, unloaded, and they could only get the driver side, weird. GM had just the brackets for 70 each! But I pretty much have to find these on this forum, all I need is the front caliper brackets, both sides, I can get pins. PLEASE if anyone parted their car out or upgraded maybe? I need to buy them! Thanks!

Try heating up the brackets real, real hot with a torch or even in your oven and pulling the pin out. A friends did that and that how he fixed it.

Be careful though, heat it up and mangled it and you'll have to re-round the hole for the slider pin. Grease the hell out of the pin when you put it back in,

Luke

98birdls1 I tried heating them up with a torch, got the pins to rotate a little, but still stuck. They brackets are pretty much trashed, thanks though.
