1bar map on a 3 bar tune....experts Trying to help someone out. IF they are tuned for a 3 bar sensor, what would happen if they installed a 2bar sensor but didnt change the scaler. He turned the FP way down to get it to run. To me this means he has a 1bar tune...not a 3 bar. He is for SURE using a 2 bar sensor now.
think of it like this; The VE value that used to occupy X RPMs and 165 kPa (roughly VE and sensor output V center) will now occupy the same X RPMs and 115 kPa (again, roughly VE and sensor output center). Basically the fueling he used to be given at 9ish PSI will now be delivered at about 2ish PSI. Of course the same applies in vacuum.
