i am looking for some form of tuner that will allow me to adjust my air/fuel ratio.

this is an area that i need education on...

if i were to pickup a wideband O2 sensor and the MAF translator GEN 2, would i be able to adjust my AFR as stated on the site? how easy/difficult is it?

would there be any better alternatives for the money?

You can do a good maf tune with that but it is all you can do. No spark table adjustments, fan adjustments, rpm changes, and so on. I am not familiar with lt1 tuning software but I am sure it doesn't cost much more.

i realize that you can just dune the AFR with it, as far as the other adjustments, they arent necessary at this point. i will get a PCM tune by mail for all of that or maybe get some LT1 edit software.

Yeah but what you want is almost $300 and you still have to get the wideband. Then you have to pay again for all that other stuff. The software cost what?

get an obd1 pcm and knock sensors and use tunercats obd1
with tts data master

please let me know what is the difference in the knock sensors? i have a 94 setup with a 95+up block that already had the sensor in it and never changed it. as far as the maf translator.i would not waste your money on that. get tunercats for less than 150 with cable and all and be able to do anything you want to to your tune..

94 & 95 are the same 96 & 97 look the same but are not
cost twice as much.
