Extremely weird LT's Just got through installing a D1-SC on an stock 01 SS when I noticed that the LT's at idle are very close but while accelerating they go to +25. I proceeded to put the stock intake box, stock file & stock injectors back on & removed the belt to find no difference in the results. I can drive the car at a steady 3000 rpm with the LT's at +25 for several miles then all of a sudden the short term goes to about -30 and it starts brings the LT's back down to around 0. The car will stay within 3% on the long term and the short term will vary with in 3% of 0 like they should. If I change the load at all (kpa value changes) then the LT's go back to +25. I have no clue and have never had this problem before. The car is currently it stock form. There are no vacum leaks on the intake or exhaust, it has brand new primary O2's, and the fuel pressure stays at 60psi. All sensors appear to be working according to my GM Tech II, it sometimes throughs a P0101 mass air flow performance code and occasional lean bank 1 & bank 2 codes. I replaced the mass air meter with a brand new GM one with the same results. Any help would be appreciated. :bang: |
Re: Extremely weird LT's perhaps the harness is bad. the o2 codes are more than likely related to the MAF freaking out. if you replaced the MAF itself I would suspect the wiring (harness) next. |
Re: Extremely weird LT's Anybody else got an idea? |
Re: Extremely weird LT's have you tried running it in open loop |
Re: Extremely weird LT's I had the same thing happen when a customer used a SLP Ma with the ATI.Stock MA with screen fixed the problem. |
Re: Extremely weird LT's Did you guys ever get the MAF harness swapped out on this thing? I am curious what the cause was. |
