Beginner's guide to tuning

Does anybody have any links, forums, or books that I could read that will get me started tuning? I'm looking for information about what parameters there are, and what effect changing them each way has on the overall tune.

I know this has probably been asked 500 times in this forum, but maybe if we get a thread with some good responses an Admin/Mod would make it a sticky.

1.Read Probst's Corvette Fuel injection Book- applies pretty much to F-Bodies also.
2. Read the LS1Edit Archives from the Beginning. Time consuming but Valuable. Here's the link Edit link . At some point join the Edit list which is the origin of the archives.\
3. If you do nothing else....Find a NoGo post . Go to his Profile by clicking on his name. At the bottom of the page is a "Show all User's Posts'. Start reading NoGo's posts. He's a great teacher. You'll learn alot....and you won't learn Internet myth. NoGo is The MAN. :D :D :D

Anybody else got any good tips? It'll take me a while to get through what was posted above, but I'll use this thread as a reference when I've read through it all. :)
