i just bought a trans am with heads and cam. the speedometer only goes up to 35 mph, but it isn't going to 35 at the same speed as the engine. the rpms climb a little slower as well. what do you guys think? is this a tune issue or what? it's supposed to have a futural stage 3 transmission, is the speed sensor likely the problem? or is it ecu/wire related? the oil, gas, battery, and water temp works fine. thanks im also having issues with the tranny. the ecu reads it as an automatic according to the seller. He says all i have to do is get the ecu converted back to manual and it will work fine. once the codes are deleted from the ecu by my handheld tuner, the tranny shifts fine most of the time, but when it comes back, i lose 2nd 3rd and 5th gear. what does this sound like?
