yup, download the demo on the site and just click demo mode when it first pops up

Well, you can download the software, but without a tune to work with, you can't tell much about how it works. So after you download it, go to the tune repository or look for a .hpt tune on a forum and download that to a folder on the same computer. Then, open the software with the .hpt file, and you will actually have something to work with.
As a demo program, you will be able to completely trash the .hpt tune and it won't matter because you won't be able to install it on anything.
