What Predator Tune Does

1 Attachment(s)
I took EFILive logs of my car with the stock tune reinstalled
and after Predator tune reinstalled (w/ my preferences for
spark & fuel settings on top of that - +10% spark and +3%
PE).

This .gif image shows the stock tune in blue and the Predator
in pink, spark & fuel (by way of O2B1S1).

At least, I think there's a .gif attached....

I pick up about 6 degrees of spark with my settings; this means
the "canned tune" is pushing about 3 degrees on its own.
Don't know where the canned tune would put O2s minus my
+3% PE, but in total I'm 0 - 20mV north so I'm guessing the
natural canned tune makes slightly leaner.

Note in the spark map a few little blips way low in both the
stock and Predator tunes. This is torque management that
did not get removed during the last load (though I can
swear it went away, other times). TM persists for 2 frames
(at 10/sec).

When I pulled my Friends 2001 TA stock program out (LS1-EDIT) we noticed how low the stock timing was on his compared to mine. My stock Timing was 9 Degress higher than his.

01-02 have a less aggressive spark map.

I believe the Predator canned tune, is set for +4* of timing. Your only supposed to be able to adjust up or down 2* of timing, which would be in line with what your seeing. The canned tune is supposed to set the AFR actually a little richer than stock PE which, it trys to hit the 12.9:1 arena.
