Running Lean...time for a tune (Indiana-ish area) Hey guys...Boilermaker here with a 2001 TA. I picked it up about 6 months ago. Previous mods were a lid and ported TB. A couple weekends ago I threw some chromemoly pushrods in (found a moderately bent one), MSD wires, TR55 plugs, K&N, a Borla Catback, and I had the MAF ported and descreened.
Now, I'm sure, more positive, that the MAF being messed with is the reason she is running lean. What I'm asking for are some good locations to get a tune. I've gotten some prices/reputations from a couple places so far. Opinions/Advice on good places? I don't mind driving 4 hours or so for a good tune!
There used to be a guy located in Kokomo, worked at Green Light Motorsports, who I heard doesn't tune anymore, but I know watches the boards. I won't name drop since I don't know the guy and if he'd appreciate it much but he tuned a good friend of mines car and I'd appreciate a chime in from him!

Purdue... its about an hr south of chicago... 45 min north of indy.. Im also getting my car tuned hopefully soon.. i didnt know of anywhere close.. Ive heard great things about tracey scott from cincy speed in ohio and was willing to travel the 3 hrs to get the car tuned by him.. anywhere closer that does awesome work?

I'm at Purdue University right now which is in West Lafayette. I'm also in and out of Lafayette and even Frankfort. Meaning I'm about 45 min north west of Indy.
The one place I'm checking out right now is over in Illinois, about 3.5 hours away. I'm willing to take a trip for a good tune.
