Default hp tuner or dyno tune?

I'm planning on getting headers soon (eventually other mods as well) and wanted to know the differences in dyno runs with tuning compared to just using a hp tuner (laptop)? any info would help for me to distinguish the two. Thanks

On the dyno they will use HPT, EFI live or something of the like. If you are mechanically and computer savy i would look into buying the program yourself and learning. If not then there are plenty of people who do tuning.

how difficult is manual tuning? i have a pretty good laptop and have done all the work to myself and have a good understanding of engine basics (been around cars ever since i was little) and would dyno tuning be more accurate?

Dyno tuning is useful but not absolutely neccassary. If you are doing street tuning which should be done by a tuner anyway, you can adjust everything and use track times and logs to measure for max timing and such in lieu of a dyno.
