Was it just tuned today in the 95 degree shop? and where did the baseline numbers come from?

Numbers should be corrected, so temperature shouldn't matter...

Was the baseline on the same dyno before the tune? Sounds a little low to me, but depends on the dyno...

the problem was he never got the car dynoed before he put the mods on so when mike over there went to do the first pull it dynoed 346 and he squeezed another 5 out of it to total out at 351.

Find out what a stock GTO puts to the wheels and go from there. How many pulls did Mike do?

Did he own this car since new? Is he 100% sure the tune was stock before New Era tuned it?

Could've been that the previous owner (if any) got the car tuned and that's why your buddy's new tuner could only squeeze 5 more hp out of it.

Stock M6 GTOs dyno in the 330-340 range, so for his mods doesn't seem like it's a bad deal...it's not like a CAI and catback add any real power.

My first lowest-gain car was an 05 GTO that I spent about twice the normal amount of time on to be able to squeeze a whopping 6rwhp out.

It was nuts... the first pull was 11.4-11.6 AFR. getting it to high twelves picked up only THREE HP. (3 HP really??!!?).

I had a C6 Vette like that once... frustrated me to no end... I ended up giving the guy his money back for the tuning...
