Default lc9 flex-fuel as standalone

I was thinking about swaping a lc9 flex-fuel motor in my el-camino, but has some one done this before?
i want to be able to run it as ententet on fuel and e85 etanol

any good ideers????

You can run flex fuel (e85) in pretty much anything i think. It just requires a lot more gas generally. So you need to make sure your fuel system and injectors can supply it. Also tune needs to be adjusted, do some research there are writeups out there.

I now that it can be mapt to run E85

but the lc9 runs E85 and fuel from factroy and it is that i want to do

what year engine/ what year pcm do you plan on using,, the 2005? and newer do not use a flex fuel sensor,, they use a virtual sensor by monitoring the fuel level and o2 sensor/ fuel trims,, then anytime the ecm see's around a 3 gal fuel level change between ignition cycles it then monitors the fuel trims to re-adjust the % alcohol fuel content
