SES light & poor drivability.

Car surges when at constant RPM, half the gas mileage as normal, exhaust tips and body surrounding tips is black from car running very rich, when you open up the throttle- black smoke pours out!!!!!! :bigun2:

Those were the symptons my 01 SS had when my passenger side front o2 went out last summer!!!! It Sucked!!!!! :barf:

TTT, Mines surged @ certain rpms, cleaned it with carb cleaner and ran like a champ.
Its like $120 a piece, dealer quoted me.

LTrims max out, which runs rich which gives you horrible gas mileage. A quick test is to use on of the rear ones on the front, the rears dont effect the motor at all so you can put the damaged one in the rear bung.

My car would surge and sputter while driving at a constant RPM... and SES light came on...

fixed my problem...bad front drivers o2...
