speedometer help
 

Not really sure if this is the right place to post this but i recently just put a 5.3l in a 99 gmc Sonoma and used a bought my wiring harness from current performance and everything is working just fine except my speedometer. The ecm is reading the mph but nothing on the gauge is there something in the program maybe that i am missing. Thanks

i suspect you will need to add the voltage pickup wire to the signal wire. run a switched 12v wire to a 680 ohm resistor. solder the other end of the resistor to the speed signal wire between the ecm and the speedometer. if you search there are diagrams in the conversion sub-forum i think.
