Default Tuning a must for headers and cam????

ive got a 2000 ws6 m6 and was wondering if i bought kooks headers(on the way) and a tr224 ona 112(near future) would tuning be a must? how drivable would it be without a tune?

It would drive OK without a tune. The 224 cam is going to cause some surging and such with the stock tune, and you may have to 2-foot it in some situations. But it will defiantly be drivable.

FWIW, headers usually respond very well to tuning. The headers usually fool the car into running slightly richer than it was before. This compromises the kind of gains that you would normally see with a header swap.

If you want to get the most out of your mods, get it tuned.
