Default 02 Z28 Dyno time...need advise on tune.

I have a 2002 Z28 stock internal, lid, long tubes, ORY,and bassani exhaust. A4 swapped to a M6 with a 3.42 eaton. LS6 clutch. A4 harness and ECM. Going to get full dyno tune and little things like speedo cal and turn off post cat 02's, since there not there. Anything i should look out for or ask them to do with the tune? The dyno time and tune isn't cheap so i want to get the most for my money. Any ideas or thoughts greatly appreciated.

Also any ideas as to RWHP before and after tune??

Save ur money. Ask Frost for a mail order tune. Dynos are for bragging. You do not have enough done to need a dyno tune.

^ Has a good point. I drove without a tune after my header and exhaust install for almost a year. I finally did a cam and stall and had it dynoed tuned.

Default dyno results.

well dyno tune completed at Rodeheavers hot rod shop in Uniontown Pa on a mustang dyno, tune performed by owner of PCM for Less. 1st run- 342RWHP!!!!! After loading the t56 cal and cleaning and descreening MAF, turning of post cat o2's, a few pulls and A/F tuning it dynoed 359RWHP and 378ft-lb's. VERY respectful for a stock internal, Few bolt on LS1. Car runs great, great throttle response, more pickup couldn't be happier........

Now go dyno on three other dynos and get three different numbers...lol. Dynos help with tuning. The numbers don't mean all that much.

Default 98 LS1 tune

Was Having a terrible time finding tuners in my area for a 98 ss LS1. I finally found Rodeheavers hot rod shop. Very helpful on phone so far. He is going to do a cam swap, long tube exhaust and a few other things...and tune as well on dyno As far as him being a Mustang guy I really don't think he will be bias and send out an unhappy GM customer. Expecially me cause of all of the business I will be sending his way if Im happy. And besides...go to the website, little bit of everything...even a couple of streetrods. Those guys just want to make fast cars. And buy the looks of their shop and happy customers they know how to get it done

Believe me if he treats me right
I will be singing his praises
