According to the very first paragraph in that link, no it won't, unless your driving a ricer.

which is why im asking.. is there a cheap or in expensive obd II cord or some way to get to the ecu with a free tuning software? im on a very small budget and wanna try and tune now instead of saving for months for efi live or something of that nature. if i could find a port or usb cord to obd II i could them be able to tune. any ideas or alternative to getting into my 02 ss's ecu?

Our MPVI std interface is $499 with enough credits to tune 4 vehicles right off the bat. $125 per vehicle is pretty reasonable in most peoples eyes I think.

WinOLS won't do anything for getting the calibration out and then back into the PCM. Still need an interface with the proper communication protocol.

To the OP, don't know what software you intend to use to edit after you have the cal out, but all of the readily available domestic tuning software suites all come with both interface, and editor. HPT and EFIlive come with interface, editor, and integrated scanner. Can't be the power for the price.
