edcmat-l1 is a tuning guru!

Rick @ RKT56 installed my cam, springs, lower pulley, and injectors on my 2010 CTS-V. I was having tuning issues that just didnt seem to want to go away after many tries and lots of frustration. Rick put me in touch with Ed and after 3 tries, he had the car driving like stock again. Just when I didnt think it could get much better, he sent me a 6L90 TCM tune that was so nice. Now I actually want to drive my car just to drive it and not to have to capture logs to send off to tweak a tune.

thanks Rick and Ed.....you guys rock!:rock::cool::cheers:

Nice to hear you are enjoying your car again. Ed is a great guy and his tuning reputation speaks for itself.

Awesome!

What issue's were you having? What are your cam spec's? Or is it one of those Top Super Secret ones. :secret2:

Stippy17 11-15-2011 08:59 AM

And that's why Ed is my tuner. Congrats on getting your cars tune fixed.

Nothing but respect for ed. It's obvious from what I've seen in this forum alone that he knows his shit.

grifter757 11-15-2011 10:03 AM

Ed is one of the most respectfull people out there and to top it off he knows his shit.

my setup is simple, LS9 Cam, ID850's, 2.55 upper and 9.1 lower (16 psi), New Era CAI, ported snout, and mid pipe.

the tune was maf only, and was having issues on tip in with part throttle drivability, and fueling was all over at wide open. the guys really tried to get it right, but the time spent was allot.

I second, third and more everything that was said above already... Ed figured out why mine wouldnt start when it warmed up.. Great guy, cant thank him enough.

Glad to hear you got it straight Brian - I know you guys were struggling with it for awhile... Ed is one of the best out there for sure!

Ed for President!!!

He is the man for sure.

Track test for the new tune at MIR today. The weather is killer so the ET's should be as well. I'm sure Evil will update the thread later today.

I'll let Brian post the details, but the car runs quicker than any 4500 pound tank has a right to. Brian logged the runs and sent them to Ed from the rack. The car picked up on every revision to the tune. Ed's the man for sure, I'm real impressed with the gains over the "other" tuner.

It was great!! Ed got me 3 back to back 10 sec passes after we got the tcm dialed in.

Ran two 1.58 60 foots leaving at idle which the v likes best.

Ran 10.89, 10.81, then a 10.76@129. 1/8 mile was 6.92@102

Did all of this with zero weight reduction, even left my sons car seat in it just for laughs.

Ed truly is the man!

I've been dealing with Ed for a number of years now. I also consider him a good friend. I have nothing but good things to say!

Now Rick - RKT56 - I could also say plenty.....and all of that excellent also and also a good friend.

You chose the right to guys to handle your drivetrain and tuning! Two of the very best at what they do.
