Correct... No Factory Gauge Cluster that uses serial data....
you can however feed an older style analog gauge cluster just fine....or an aftermarket gauge cluster with analog gauges.... which in my opinion... you would want to do anyways... stock gauges are slow and inaccurate most of the time

pressure and heat(within reason) will not mess with the readings
you want it to be 18-24 ish inches from the collector so that the gasses have time to combine into one solid mass instead of reading individual pulses

with a turbo, typically people have the actual turbo closer than 18 inches of the collector...so you just need to move it downstream from the turbo till you are that 18-24 inches from the collector...

My turbo is prob 6 inches from my collector. Down stream from the turbo is reading both sides of the engine. No way around it unless I put it in the pass collector. What are you running for sensors again? I read today you dont use the stock oil pressure sensor. Have to use their transistors. They are 100 a piece and I already need one each for my boost and fuel pressure. lol

any 0-5v sensor can be used
autometer, Holley, whatever....
you can use a stock Corvette oil pressure sensor... they are a 3 wire, 0-5v and there is a calibration for it already in the menu choices.

Thanks for the great information. I am about ready to buy the Holley system to control a S488 Turbo 408 that I am putting in a Pro Gas style Vega. It has all analog gauges currently from it's racing days. I got a stock oil pressure sensor and all of the factory GM Camaro LS sensors. Will these be able to interface with the Holley system?

really?? Do you have a part number? Is the lq4 sender not a 3 wire or do you know the difference? Thanks!

its not an LQ4 sender.......

go to any auto parts store, and ask for an oil pressure sender for any 2001+ corvette
it will be a 3 wire 0-5v sender

and sorry, I lied.... you have to set it up as a custom sender... there is no drop down menu preset for it...

If I recall correctly....
.5v = 0psi
4.5v = 130psi

How easy/accurate are using other transistors and calibrating them? I will prob get the holley ones for fuel and boost. I need to know they are dead on. Or at least the piece of mind. lol

I just didnt know the differences between my 05 stock one and the corvette one.

Chub, I think you are starting to overthink all of this....

the Holley and autometer ones are dead on with what they say

its not hard to take anybody's generic sender and make it work....
you just need to know the range, and the voltage over that range...
example being Autometer oil pressure sender
0.5v = 0 psi
4.5v = 100 psi

once you know that, you can just tell it to smoothe between the far two cells and it will auto populate the middle data...

Youre prob right. When I dont know completely what I'm doing, I over think it. Ill be honest. I have the software but honestly didnt know what all was involved in calibrating it. Trying to save some money but want to spend it where it counts. lol My buddy is running the megasquirt. The price difference is tempting but the holley will be way better for me. Just all the nickle and diming they do. lol

I plan on buying the dominator in the future and will try and piggyback the vss and a few other sensors to keep basic dash function

If it's a 99-02 f-body you can piggyback all you want. It won't help. The dash gets it's signal through a serial data wire from the stock pcm. Switch it out for a 98 dash and you can probably make it work.
