hpp3 strictly for tuning Torque Cnvertr
Have you used HPP3 just for tuning your car after TC install?
Was it enough for you or did you need more tuned?
I am considering using it just for shift points and rev limiter and thats it.....I would like to see who else has used it just for this and thats it.

You would be able to tune your WOT properties, but if you wanted to tune for driveability shift points and TCC lock-up points, I don't believe you can do that with a hypertech.
If your converter is on the samller side you should be ok with an HPP3.. If your converter is on the larger side and you want to do some driveability tuning, then the HPP3 will not work for that imho.

There are other tuners out there besides ls1edit.
It really depends on the price you can get one for.. if the price is right, anything can sell.
If you put the converter in and you are not hititng the rev limiter on any of your shifts than you're good to go.. but sometimes adding a looser torque converter can cause cars to hit the rev limiters on shifts, thus needing fine tuning.
