Default 4L60e to t56 swap, can I use automatic PCM?

Hello everyone. I have a 88' s10 with a LS1 in it (98 t-bird) and I am currently in the process of putting in the T56. I had the 4l60e in it for about a year and wanted to make the truck more fun. Will I be able to running the automatic computer (with or without tuning) or do I need a new computer. Currently the PCM has security lock turned off, I would hate to get another computer.

It will work with no changes.
However, a few DTC's will pop and drivability won't be ideal, until you get the PCM flashed with a manual tune.

Thank you for the quick response. Is this something I can do myself with hptuners?
