Car won't idle after new setup Just making this video to see if maybe I'm missing something stupid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KGJdH9pnEA Had the PCM reflashed on a bench by my tuner, he dyno tuned the last setup and I was extremely pleased so I'm sticking with him Giving it gas will help if the idle drops down to like 500rpm, but anything over that it seems like it already has too much air and not enough fuel? The video is kinda crappy I should have pushed the car up closer to the camera but it's just a go pro, shame this is the first time I've been able to use it this year too lol. Previous parts were: 224/224 .561/.561 112LSA cam LS6 intake 78mm ported TB 85mm MAF 30lb SVO injectors New parts: 231/234 .617/.612 112LSA cam FAST 102mm intake NW 102mm TB LS7 MAF in 100mm housing 36lb Bosch injectors Input is appreciated, again not expecting any miracle cure as I know this is a pretty big change for a mail order tune vs what I had before. |
Get one of these, It usually smooths these problems out. http://www.saxonpc.com/100mm-cells-for-100.html Theres been a lot of talk about similar problems, search it up. |
A lot of changes there for a bench flash... need to get a wideband on it and see where the fueling is - pretty much just needs tuned... |
That's what I figured. Do you think if I reset the tps count like the procedure in the sticky it may idle? |
Not gonna help if it is at 17:1 or 10:1 AFR... You gotta find that out first... Was the tune changed for the injectors? I'm betting that MAF is throwing it off... |
Low fuel pressure or the base tune is just off alot. It's hard to base tune a conversion. |
