Won't shift 2-3 when it hooks
 

Having an issue with my car and I'm 99.9% sure it's the tune. When the car dead hooks at the track it hits the limiter going to 2-3, but if it spins a little it will shift just fine. It will also shift fine from a roll. A friend of mine said that he has heard of this happening when cars dead hook, any recommendations? I may be able to get a copy of my tune posted. Thanks.

You've got a few options: lower the shift mph/rpm, raise the limiter, add trans pressure. Either way as long as the trans isn't toast you can fix it with tuning.

And if you keep lowering the shift points, and it keeps hitting the limiter, you need a tranny...

a 4l60 with no third gear shift my bet is the tranny that is what happens to 99% of them
