I want to install a 85MM MAF and resistor - need help I want to install a 85MM MAF…..with the appropriate resistor and I need help. I did a search but cannot find what I was hoping to find.
Anyway, not all that long ago I swear there was a post showing the resistor value and location to solder it on an 85MM MAF, plus the table to insert into the PCM. AS I recall, the resister was 1k ohm, placed between the long legs and the table had a peak entry of
~430 @ 11250…

The resistor on the 85mm Delphi is there for using
it in the FBodies with stock programming. If you
are tuning and can edit the MAF table, then you
just want a straight Delphi truck (screened) or
Z06 (no screen) MAF and use the straight table
and no resistor. Either of these is available for
less than the SLP although you would need the
Casper's adapter harness for an FBody install
(or the connector to solder up yourself).
The resistor value is 2.7K. Posts are here on this
forum, just search them up.
