Default WOT AFR very rich from what commanded AFR should be.

The pcm is commanding 12.7 at WOT but i'm seeing low 12's. 12.0-12.3

I looked at IAT modifiers and all other sorts of modifiers but everything looks fine I would post up a log but i didn't have the laptop on me.

Someone tell me what I should look at.. Between this and the knock sensor problems and head gasket problems (fixed) I've about had it with this car

Would the MAF have anything to do with it?

Did you tune the VE and Maf independently of each other thru the entire rpm range? I'm no expert but if you do a get all cells on your actual and commanded should be very close

Its running the MAF dyno tune from when i had my tuner do it, A couple of weeks ago it was doing a fine 12.6-7 but now all of a sudden it doesn't get higher than 12.0-12.3. The Maf takes charge after 2000 RPM also and no changes have been made to that tune file and no mods have been added. I'm truly baffled

A MAF will need a street retune after dyno time. Mine was about .5 AFR different between street and dyno. At WOT you are running MAF only unless your LTFT's are really off then it will add/subtract that % to/from the MAF. The MAF could have also gotten a little dirty in the time from your tune.

Are your LTFT locking at 0. They need to be negative to do that. If not they will add fuel.

^ Cat over Temp and LTFT's will do it if your tune isn't inline before you go WOT.

COT is not the issue if he is logging commanded AFR. The only way for COT to be active and cause a rich condition is to command it. If AFR is staying set at commanding 12.7 then either COT is set to not go richer than that or is not enabling.

What wideband are you using and is this the same wideband that was used to tune the car with? Depending on wideband there is a large variance that I've seen from day to day with some widebands!

Do you have cats on your car?

When it was dynotuned, where was the placement of the wideband used by the tuner?

What gear(s) are you checking the AFRs on the street?

Like others have mentioned...the AFR on a dyno will be slightly different than the AFR when actually ran on the street.

Quick Reply: WOT AFR very rich from what commanded AFR should be.
