Default 0411 PCM --Cam Sensor---1x or 2x or 4x???

I am in the middle of my 6.0 swap with a callies 24 tooth reluctor crank

Its a Gen IV LQ9

The cam sensor is on an ls2 style cover in the front.

I hear that the cam sproket has to be changed to make it 2x because that is what the PCM needs to be able to read it properly.

Is there any merit to this? Hope that made sense.

You need a 1X cam sprocket off a 2005 Corvette or a 2005-2006 GTO LS2.

Russ k is telling you straight. Go to the gen 4 internal section. Read the first sticky.I Just pick out the part about the cam sprocket, sensor, cover. As it relates to you. You must make your computer/ operating system work like a ls1. It seams you know you need the crank reluctor. You need the same for the cam. And the correct crank sensor as per that write up. I'm sure it is probably written to pertain to your exact situation some were but same idea.
