LSX 427/Comp cam and codes P0068, p0101 and p0106
I have a Thomson built GMPP LSX 427 with a wild comp cam, dual springs, rockers etc etc.
Using the E67 LS7 ECU kit.
I have had a tuner working on it on the dyno and wasn't getting any codes that day but since, I have been getting P0068 most often when I start to step on the gas and then it goes into limp mode. Sometimes it goes into limp mode with no code. It also often throws P0101 and P0106. It threw P0106 this morning when I came to a stop light and it idled.
When the car was first running, the system was showing codes for MAP voltage too high and low but everything checked out. We tested the voltage, and swapped sensors and it continued. The tuner also changed the min/max parameters the MAF could see to try and eliminate the P0068 but it seems to have gotten worse since then.
I don't understand how all this stuff works so my apologies if my description doesn't make much sense.
The motor was a new crate motor as was the ECU kit. The MAF has been confirmed in the correct location. I was hoping someone may have some insight. Seems most likely it's the cam messing with the airflow but if someone can help point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.
