Default read entire file question. hptuners

Hey guys, i have a buddy that bought a boosted 4.8 s10. This truck is supposed to be tuned e85. I read the tune with my hptuner software but the tune is coming up stock, even though the engine has a 2bar map. I have not checked the injector serial #s yet. They are showing up stock ls1 27ish#hr. My question is, can the tune read stock if the computer is locked from previous tuner?? Thanks.

Normally it will read the entire tune then fail at the end iirc on locked or incompatible tunes (Trifecta, ect.)

If it completed and let you save it, that's what's in the ecu. Do you have a stock tune to compare it to? He may have skewed the MAF and raped the PE table just to get it to run.

I looked over the tune again. didn't see anything noticeably out of whack. I did notice the stoich was still 14.7. should that valve been 9.7? (never tune e85).... the only reason I was in his cpu anyway was to set up a pump gas tune since we don't have e85 here. anyhow I attached the tune if anyone is interested.

Thanks.

If the stoich is still 14.7 he raped the MAF and/or IFR tables. Gotta have a stock file to compare. The PE ratio of 1.31 is how he's adding WOT fuel but prob not enough unless he skewed the MAF readings also. Def a raped tune. E85 requires ~30% more fueling than E10.

its a no brainer that we will have to start from scratch with a 2bar tune. I really do appreciate u entertaining my curiosity.
