Default Need some tuning help..car just dies at half throttle

OK heres the deal. Im driving the car in say 5th gear and it feels fine but when i give it some gas to maybe make a pass or something (without downshifting) knock just comes up by the gobs (10* or more) and the power is not there (because of the knock) i have done everything i can think of and cant find out why. Ive got good gas, plugs, all wire connected ect. I just did a spring swap and right afterwards it started doing this. Before it ran great. Can anyone help with where this knock is coming from? thanks

Fuel filter, fuel lines, fuel pump wiring - things
that would contribute to bad fuel pressure fade?
Maybe kinked a line while working underneath etc.

new springs are in good cond. (new) I have hardened pushrods and i checked when installing new springs everything looks good. Im thinking its false knock due to a bad sensor or something cause its a 98 year model...anyone??
