Default Dual tune PCM...who sells it?

I searched and could not find anyone or the Frost dual tune PCM.

Anyone know who sells them now....?

Or can an 0411 PCM be made to hold two tunes that can be switched on-the-fly quickly to either one....?

even the dual tune PCMs I have seen do not flip on the fly, they had 2 different storage chips in the case and you had to pull over, turn off the car, flip a switch, then restart from the 2nd tune

Where do I buy one? That's cool with me. My uses are for valet parking. I want to be able to pull up to a valet, shut it off,VoIP the hidden switch, then restart it and let them park it.
Have the valet tune only be able to reach a max of 1800 rpm.......

Pretty sure it was Frost doing those. He might have stopped due to lack of interest. Might give him a call or email

You can find someone selling them in less that 5 seconds with a Google search. Here is a hint. LS1 dual flash.

You can do that with a stock pcm using a custom OS with efi live. You'll have to add one wire to the pcm to activate it. The switch can be flipped with the vehicle running and is instant.

The chip was made by Digital Inflection Corporation.

This PDF explains how it works. http://www.mrk-motorsports.com/pdf/D...PCM_Manual.pdf

Just Flash in a custom OS and wire in a switch?

+1

Use COS 5. I have a switch set up that is used as a kill/security switch on mine.

Good luck

I have no clue how to manipulate a PCM.........so who can set my PCM up to work in dual function?

Then I can have my car Dyno Tuned with all my new mods. My tuner can install the PCM and the wire and switch.

I can setup your PCM for it but your tuner will have to tune with it efi live. If they have efi live and just don't know how to set up the cos have them call me and I can walk them through it.

Can you PM me a price to set up the PCM to have dual tunes? Should I upgrade to the 0411 PCM for my 1998 car? Or will my factory 1998 PCM work fine? Its going to get a dual stage 350 shot of nitrous..........

So I will have to pull over, shut the engine off and electric off, wait 20-30 seconds, flip the switch, then start the car and go.....?

It will only work on a 99+ it will not work on a 98 pcm. You can flip the switch on the fly with the car running. I normally like the nitrous controller activate it when it cuts on the nitrous.

I am wanting this too! I asked a few weeks, or about a month back, about Frost, but no one bothered to give me any info.

I want a tune a High Performance tune for 93/oct and an Econo tune for when I am traveling or broke and need to fill up with slop 87/oct, lol...

I just had my 01 WS6 tuned for 87/oct, so I can get decent mileage for my 400 miles trip, I'm about to make. He used EFI LIVE, if I remember right.

I am using my stock 01 ECU so I know I'm good, but I don't want to take the chance and wire it up wrong and it fry on me.

How to do the dual chip setup and switch?

Once it's done, is it programmed the same way as before, with the EFI LIVE?

Thanks!

Damn LS6427, I just realized that you're in South Florida, and I half *** remember us having a conversation a while back, lol...

Yeah, I'll be coming back home to Miami soon, for a little vacation. I'm in JAX, but I need to cut over to Ocala to pick up a buddy so that's why I would like to have an Econo tune for 87/oct; 400-/+ miles with a HP tune will drink down a lot of high octane gas... especially with I have an A4 sitting between an LQ9 and a MWC FAB9 with 4.11 in it

Yea, I remember having a conversation....cant remember what it was about though.

4.11 on the highway....damn. It would be nice if gear swaps were quick and easy.....toss in some 3.23s and hit the highway.

Yea, I want the dual tune for valet, or for theft. Make the second tune just barely be able to hit 10mph. hahahahaha Hidden mini toggle switch. Or have 4 mini toggles on a strip in a place where they are not so hidden, maybe just right inside the glove box or down on the kick panel. But only you know the right position for all 4 switches......nobody could ever guess it right to steal it or for a valet guy to joy ride it.

When you going to Miami....? I live in HALLANDALE.
