Going nuts, p0315 and no Bpp change in PCM with pedal movement
Man I hate for something like this to be one of my first posts. I swapped a 2007 Gen IV 5.3 into my 94 Chevy truck. I had the harness and PCM work done by a guy that has done a couple of harnesses for me in the past.
Here's my issue. The first PCM gave me a fault at #2 injector. Pin out tests showed defective PCM. I changed it and the all was well with the injector. I did get the P0315 for crankshaft variance not learned. I tried to perform the procedure but it would tell me the parameters were not met. After some checking I see in the PCM it does not ever see the brake applied. The TCM sees the change but not the PCM. I checked at the PCM and the signal is reaching the PCM connector. I changed back to the first ECM and it does not see the brake applied either.
Can this be something done in the programing? I'm out of ideas.
