Default New here, questions re: timing in hp tuners

I've got my LTFTs averaging around -4 in trim cells 6-14 and 0 WOT. As of now I have ZERO knock retard and was wondering if it would be beneficial to add some timing until i start to get KR then back it off a degree or two? I imagine it'd add a bit of power

I have a 2000 C5 w/ long tubes and vararam. The car runs really well but I want to get it into the 11s. Im about a tenth off now.. (prior to any tuning) and a poor DA.

Thanks
Dave

thanks is there anything I should look for? Any max timing constraints? Any mid rpm constraints? I know I shouldnt rely solely on the knock retard sensor.
