Default My stock super lean tune 05 C6

Got a bit of dyno time and confirmed what my logging has told me all along. The stock tune was VERY lean. It was doing 14-15 afr @ WOT. The pinging was audible from inside the car. 05 and 06 KS values made no difference in log.

I had an adjusted tune which I got to run on my 2nd run. (Dyno time not cheap here) Which I still ran the more sensitive 06 KS values and got it to 12.8 - 13.1 and no KR. I will need to take it to a different dyno to get some significant tuning time in to match up MAF and PE commanded to make more sense rather than my band aid let's richen it all up.

So far I've adjusted the MAF about 7% up from stock and am commanding 12.24 PE from 3k up I left the torque peak area stock but erred to be richer still beyond 4.2k. I wonder how many C6 owners out there don't realize that their cars are running like **** and letting the whole I drive a vette thing get to their head.

Funny part is I'm still running MAF values less than the Camaro with the 85mm LS3 combo.

I dont think its a C6 thing, I run into the same thing on all different models a couple times a year. Had a 2012 truck the day 100% stock that was 15% lean. I think its the MAF causing this usually on stock vehicles, just my guess.

hmmm... I think I may play with swapping the maf from the 2 cars this weekend and log the differences with the same tune. Just to update, the SD tune seems to be bang on and lower MAF values aren't off. It's just at WOT **** goes to hell with the stock values.

I would think its a maf thing, when my brother had my ws6 we went to tune it and anythime you touched the throttle it went super lean! Replaced maf and no issues
