Turns out my ECU Can only be flashed to a 2 bar map. I emailed HP Tuners support and they cant tell me what ecus will work. I am looking for an 04-06 ECU that is 3 bar capable. I can confirm that my ECU

VCM OS ID 12613248 cannot be flashed to 3 Bar. It came out of an 07 GMC Van with the older style ecu.

Does any one have a known good ecu so I don't have to play russian roulette at the junk yard

Its the operating system more than the PCM. Would probably help if you said what it was being used on and the service # on the PCM you have. How do you expect to get help with the few details you give.

I know my ECU OS will not work. The car is wired to a blue green harness, Id rather not repin it. I am asking if anyone has a know OS that can be upgraded to 3 Bar since apparently HP tuners tech support doesn't know.

The newer PCMs have very few Operating systems which are 3 Bar capable.
Your best bet is to get a 03-05 OS with 3 Bar capability that can run all the systems in your car/truck (trans/cluster/fuel gauge/etc).

I have a few files you can flash to your PCM. Post your current stock tune to check options. Give more details about your ride. Is it a swap or what?

Its in a swap so I dont care about the dash ect. I am running a 6.0 with a 4l80e DBW. Final plan would be to run a 3 bar OS. I have already wired the car with a blue green harness. Id rather not Repin the harness for a red blue ECU if I can avoid it. I can post the stock tune when I get home.

An OS from a GTO should work. Blue/green PCM and they should have 3 bar

can a GTO OS be flashed using a tech2? I don't believe that can be done with HP tuners correct?

I have a 2005 Silverado stock tune for a 6.0L with 4L80E and DBW, I confirmed it can be upgraded to 3 Bar. You can flash it directly with Hptuners, no Tech2 needed.
