HP tuners log vs AEM gauge display accuracy
to start, my offset voltage is on point and my AEM wideband gauge matches the Hp log a/f damm near perfect during stft tuning and cruise logging.
Its on a launch that I have a issue, my gauge at a eye glance is displaying very rich, while the hp tuners says im very lean. It balances out at around 2800/3000 rpm.
I think part of it may be due to the 3200 stall , but one of the two isnt keeping up.
Which is more accurate, my gauge or the HP tuners log ?
I initially thought it was the hp tuners not keeping up but now Im second guessing it.

The gauge is going to have display averaging built in if it's digital.
HPT logging gets slow if you exceed so many PID's depending on the ECU in your vehicle.
Without more info I'd say HPT is more accurate if you are using the external analog input into the Pro interface. If you are using the A/C Pressure or EGR input into the ECU as a cheat then who knows.

No I have the pro version I'm not using the a/c input .
And I kept my pids to absolute minimum and it still did the same thing . Just logged rpm the few basics for the ve and that's it .

Then I'd go with what HPT says. Mine also goes lean on initial tip in of boost in the logger but richens up within a few tenths of a sec on my MAF only tune. I use the analog out of an Autometer Cobalt digital gauge. Not sure what the gauge display shows as it updates twice a second and I'm usually grabbing onto holy **** when I nail it.
