Default Long tube headers, deleted egr tuning help

I installed long tube headers and deleted egr. On a cold start the car idles rich at about 12.6 and after a minute of idling it goes back to its normal 14.7 at idle. Trying to tune it to stay at 14.7 at cold start. Any help is appreciated.

Pretty sure that is by design. it's sort of like choking a carburetor - run rich to get it started and running, then start to lean out as it warms up
