having trouble with a dead on my 370
Having trouble narrowing where my dead spot in my motor is coming from
.. at idle if I try to Rev it quick it just falls on its face
Run down what it is..
Forged 370 ci 10:5.1
Ported 317s
Vic jrdum
Accufab 4150
Fic 525 injectors
Ls7 liftersdum
Not sure if it's a fueling issue, something in computer/electrical, or motor issue
Just put a new custom grind cam in specd to motor to see if that solved it and it didnt.. I can take video if needed .. need some guidance. . Thanks guys...
This is a new build so been this way since it went together not all the suddendum

Dead spot
What are you using to tune/calibrate the ECM/PCM (EFILive, HPTuners etc.) You must be running the OEM ECM/PCM in speed density with the MAF failed. Is the VE table well configured for the engine combination? Do you have a wide-band AFR meter?
I don't see a vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator so I assume you have the injector curve in the software configured for a non-vacuum referenced regulator.
I would recommend data logging the engine variables along with the wide-band AFR data to see what it is doing.
Intake and throttle like that with the OEM ECM can sometimes have difficulty getting the calibration right on aggressive tip in because of the lack of simple acceleration enrichment "pump shot" type variables in the OEM software. So you will really need to spend some time getting the VE table calibrated properly for your combination.
