06 cts-v e67 ecm & gas pedal work with 06 truck dbw tb? doing a swap with a 5.3 turbo in a bmw 328i. im using a 2006 cadillac cts v e67 ecm and gas pedal and i have a ls6 intake manifold. i just ordered a 2006 silverado DBW throttle body and im pretty sure it came off a e38 ecm car.
ive heard in the past that using different pedal/throttle bodies on different ecms causes the throttle to not open all the way etc. would a good tuner be able to work around this or should i just order a different TB?

A 2006 silverado had a LS1 PCM and not a E38. I am 95% sure the 06 truck TB will not work with the E67 ECM. I run into this all the time with E38 swaps when people have mismatched TB's and ECM's. Your ECM, TB, and gas pedal all have to match, and the ECM has to have the correct OS in it.
