Default O2 Sensors: Vortec vs GTO

I hope this is in the right section, if not please move it.

I bought an aftermarket wiring harness for my swap (4.8 into a 240sx) last year and i have never been able to get the o2 sensors to work. The o2 sensors that came with the engine and ecu that I am using are from an 02ish silverado manufactured in Canada.

When I ordered the harness, there was no connector option available for the Vortec O2's that matched my sensors, but they had the 05-06 GTO O2 sensor connector, so that is what I went with.

My question is, do the GTO and Vortec O2 sensors send the same information to the ecu, or does one differ from the other? I have had a hard time finding wiring diagrams for either that are consistent enough to determine this.

Thanks for the help!
