T56 with 06 LQ4 Harness/ECU
I am working on the wiring for the LQ4 in my Chevelle. I have HPTuners so I can change the transmission setting to manual for the T56 but I have a couple questions relating to the swap:
1. Is there a way to add reverse lockout to the truck computers through the tuning software?
2. Does selecting the "manual" option add the clutch pedal position function for disabling cruise control? Is it as simple as adding a wire to pin 35 on the blue connector? Also does the computer need to see +12 volts or ground with the clutch pedal depressed?
Thanks for the help!

If your lq4 pcm is setup for an automatic you need to do a segment swap to make it a manual tune. You would have to find a manual tune with the same OS to do the swap. At least that is what I understand from everything I have read.

I sent the file to HPTuners support and was given a link to download a version 2.25 beta with reverse lockout added. I flashed the updated file to the ECU and now I have reverse lockout!
I'm still confused about how to dead with cruise control. Can I use the CPP input to disable cruise or was that only used for clutch anticipation? My only other option is to connect the CPP switch to the ECU's brake switch input. That would be fine but I would have to use some sort of diode to keep the brake lights from coming on when I press the clutch pedal.

What did you end up doing entirely for this ECU and harness modification? I'm putting in the LQ4 and T56 trans as well into my chevelle.
I want to know if I can get an ECU or harness from a 4.8L, 5.3L or a 6.0L? Or do I have to go with the 6.0L no matter what? You mentioned the 2004 corvette...is that the entire generation or just that year? Sorry to revive the thread, I'm really good at that lol
