Default 4l80 manual low hold

I've searched many threads with no solution I have a gen 3 ls6 4l80 in a jeep I cant hold manual low (1st) talked to a guy at efilive and suggested that I use a microswitch on d1 to enable performance mode and max out all of the tables so it cant shift but I dont want to sacrifice perf mode as I drive it on the street once in a while and need the low pressure so I dont spin the paddles on the way to the dunes any suggestions? I have a buddy with hpt that can modify this parameter but I'm running the upgraded os so its been useless any help would be appreciated

Did you ever find a solution to this? I have the same problem, but to my understanding its an issue that cant be tuned out? Like its hard wired into the 4l80 Seg file.

I don't have that issue with mine. I've pulled the shifter down into 1 and its stayed there until I bumped it to next gear or put it back into d. Do you only have the seg swap done and no tinkering with the tune? But I really don't see why it would shift out from 1 if you pull it down into manual 1, even with a auto shift.

Default 4l80 manual low hold

There are Manual 1st 1->2 and 2->1 shift tables in some calibrations...

if they they're incorrect wrt to each other and wrt vehicle gearing, then you can get a 1-2 shift in M1.

i think you need the HPT custom os to get the low hold tables.
