questions concerning harness mods
1) rear 02 sensors (would replacing the front 02's with wide band be cost effective?)
2) anti-lock brake circuit
3) 4 wheel low circuit (since I'm converting trans to 2WD)
4) cruise control
5) there are 3 different wires pertaining to vehicle speed (VSS): one is on J1 pin 24 labeled as "not used", another on J1 pin 25 labeled as engine speed signal and another on J1 pin 39 labeled as VSS. which of these are used in cruise control logic and which one is used for speedometer?
6) brake boost vacuum circuit
7) fuel tank pressure circuit
8) EVAP canister circuit
9) DOD circuit (can I just plug the block towers after DOD has been removed from ECM?)
10) VATS
That's enough for now because I don't want to take up too much of someone's time. But even if I screw something up the knowledge gained from this is priceless. Thanks again. Most of the threads I have read are using a T56 but I'm going to give this car to my daughter someday and I want it to be as enjoyable as possible for her.
Leave rear O2's. Run separate wideband, I have the PLX unit and AEM and really like them. If you are going to have someone else tune it, depending on who you go to, you may not even need one as they will have it already.
