Default Had the car tuned today. Disappointing results.

I was just wondering how this tune looked? The car doesn't seem to run a lot better than when it had the stock LS3 430hp cam.

The engine is a bone stock LS3 crate engine with 1-3/4" headers, a BTR Stage 4 cam, and aftermarket air intake. The car weighs 2100 pounds with a T56 behind it. It only has an alternator. No A/C, P/S or anything.

Does this look right? Due to having crappy tires, we think the tires may have been spinning on the dyno, but the numbers still do not seem good. Any thoughts?

When you stop the pull at 5886 rpm with a BTR stage 4 cam the #s are going to be low.

Even with the torque falling off and the low torque numbers in general?

You never even hit peak power let it spin more and you will get more power out of it.

410 @ 5886 rpm. And it looks like that HP curve is not even starting to slow down. And if that Mustang Dyno was calibrated correctly that would be around 470 RWHP on a Dynojet.

We couldn't get the speed up any higher due to the tires. They have a 106 MPH speed rating and they are 12 years old. If we have a blow-out, it takes away my rear quarter. He said bring back the car with different tires and he will run it again.

Yeah keep spinning that engine dude. You haven't even come close to the peak power, I bet that's somewhere in the 6400-6500 range. Heck, stock LS3 cams peak higher than that...much less a BTR stage 4 cam.

So you still have 700rpm to go. The power is still climbing at almost 45* angle when the pull was stopped.

Take it to 7k and you'll see another 30hp.

Yeah...cash is a bit tight to buy tires. These have about 7k miles on them, but are pretty old. I can floor the car at 65 mph and it will start spinning on a dry road and the tires are 12" wide and hard as a rock.
